WINGATERS CT note is pretty spot on. modern cali cab. oak and vanilla notes are present, but not overpowering. lush tannins make for a very pleasant drinking experience. drinking well now with a brief decant

This is a red wine, Oak forward, heavy vanilla notes, whiskey in a wine jar, lingering mid pallet tannins, JP says ‘delicious’, puckery, Michelle and Julie ‘like it’ which means solid.

I wasn't sure if this cab would be ready at 7 years, and I'm still not certain. I think it is definitely in its early drinking window. The fruit is delicious, ripe, and screams blackberries to me. But it definitely has that mountain aspect to it - a boldness and bite on the finish that certainly encourages pairing with meat. Really good - finish is definitely above average. Oak is there but not the star by any means. Probably has a few more years to develop if cellared.

Still needs time, but quite approachable, and showing wonderful depth.
