  Clear pale ruby. Clean aromatic med intensity nose of raspberry, cranberry, gentle violets, red plum, stewed red fruit, maybe prunes, cloves, black pepper, a touch of leather. Dry, high acidity, low tannin. Light body. Strong redcurrant on the palate, strawberry, maybe some kirsch (a bit of an alcohol kick), heat and sweet spice at the end. Medium + finish that’s surprisingly long for a wine so light. Lovely example of Swiss wine!

  Intense ripe strawberries and redcurrant nose with some black pepper and leather. Very fresh and plummy. Savoury mid-palate. Good balance of acidity, fruit and tannins in the structure. Need some time in the glass to show its depth. Delicious and substantial. Of a similar quality to a good Beaujolais Cru or a village Cote de Beaune but at a lower cost. Very good blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay from Switzerland.
