PnP, chilled. Clear straw-yellow in the glass. This wine's minerality seems to be its most prominent feature - both on the nose and the palate. The lemon citrus notes are there as well, as is the juicy (but not quite "pique-poul") acidity, but not too much else. Varietally true to its French roots but without the fruits that TCV notes are present. At 5 years since vintage is the fruit fading, even though TCV vintage chart shows the wine as "Drinking Well: Mature"?

Verve and varietal character in a still youthful refreshing package. Nice with linguine alle vongole. As an aside, I have added 5 to 7% TCV Picpoul to various Syrah and Syrah blends, finding a little bit adds lift and voluptuousness, without changing the red wine's varietal-ness. Kinda like Viognier but perhaps better.

Refreshing, taut citrus notes roll into stone fruit roundness with limestone on the long finish. Excellent "patio wine" with grilled chicken and a summery salad.

Similar to my Jan. note, this is a big step up from typical Picpoul (not that there's anything wrong with a simple acid-driven style). This drank well over two nights. People should try this.

My last bottle of this fantastic QPR drank with a baked COSTCO chicken. Bright and crisp.
