At the Seattle Vino Volo. Again very fruit forward (similar to the Mark Ryan) although this time it's more cherries. I always find that flavor a bit less over the top than other red fruits and so again I'm finding myself calling it fruit forward, but not necessarily too much. A wine that could be a good evening sipper by itself or maybe with red meat (more in the game category than steak). But fairly easy drinker and found it grew on my through the glass.

Fresh fruit, darker cherry and spice on the nose. Lovely balance of drinkable silky tannins, fondue chocolate and spice with a long finish. Very enjoyable!

Alcohol levels are pushing the boundaries on this Cab dominant blend which is the only reason I'm not rating this higher. The malbec at 1% peaks through with some leather and tobacco. Deep and dark - this is an extremely nice bottle of wine at $30. RJB WSET 2
