Bright ruby red, strawberry and pastille nose, with an incredible blend of savory, sweet, salty and minerally flavors that become more integrated with air. We have long extolled the virtues of cru Beaujolais wines for their versatility and price-quality ratios, yet have only more recently begun to incorporate them more regularly into dinner plans. I should smack myself on the forehead—what was I waiting for?

Purple-ruby red, violet and floral nose. Lighter to medium-bodied, pastille notes along with dark berry fruit, piercing intensity and a gripping finish that hangs on for minutes, with a bright upward tilt. We are lucky that cru Beaujolais still flies under the radar as this rivals wines from much more esteemed appellations. Wow.

Lighter red hues, a little funkiness when opened that blows off with air, and intermingled red berry, umami, and floral notes. Really intriguing.
