Peak ripeness. Silky and soft cherry and raspberry. Subtle prune but more red fruit. Tannins were just enough to give the wine structure without overpowering the fruit. Lovely classical Oregon Pinot with no attempt to be a big fruit Cab as we see now with new Pinot wineries.

I’m really enjoying this wine, it’s very easy drinking, a bit too easy actually, like it’s past its prime. However, I’m liking the nose and berry forward taste. Sometimes a short finish Pinot with good fruit and just enough tannins so you know you’re still drinking wine is perfect for a Saturday night!

Color is darker than a typical Pinot Noir. Alcohol level seems high (I’ll check it shortly) - more legs that I expected and the first aroma/sense I get from the nose is alcohol. A bit hot and strong cherry fruit. Short finish - again seems hot/ high alcohol. Just checked the label and it is 13.9% alcohol. I’m guessing the grapes were very ripe at picking time.
WE gave it a 91 and James Suckling a 90. It’s a solid PN, but nothing special. I see it as a strong 88.

88 up front. Great improvement over 2 hours. Red berries, cherries and a little rose. Still has some tannins could go a couple more years

Flat tasting. Perhaps we missed the consumption window with this one.
