  • Tasted blind in VV.

Translucent and somewhat developed red color with a hue of dried blood. Quite fresh and fruit-forward but also very one-dimensional nose of ripe strawberries and some fresh plummy fruit. The wine is medium-bodied, straightforward and mellow on the palate with generic, one-dimensional flavors of fresh and somewhat sour plums, a little bit of wild strawberries and a hint of raspberries. The wine is medium in acidity with very easy and soft tannins. The finish is quite brief and one-dimensional with fruit-forward flavors of raspberries and wild strawberries along with a sweeter hint of dark plummy fruit.

A safe, boring and very easily approachable little red. Nothing particularly bad here, but still I'm just curious: why would anybody want to drink a twopenny wine this generic, one-dimensional and boring? Feels a bit overpriced at 9,99€.
