  The somewhat reticent nose wafts black plum, cherry, tar, rose petal, and black pepper. Medium bodied with stout, fine grained tannin and precision-guided acid built a well-frame structure. The flavor profile includes black plum, black currant, cassis, cherry, black pepper, and graphite. It's drinking nicely now, showcasing the terroir and variety nicely without overshadowing it with oak. I get the sense it has another year or two of unwinding before it's going to reach peak.

  Lovely stuff - perfect on a sunny day with meats grilled on the bbq. I wouldn't hang on to this for more than a few years. Its relative youth is part of its appeal, the crunchy shiny red fruit is there to be enjoyed and the depth has come from the vinification not the dust gathered in your cellar. Drink it before civilisation properly collapses.
