  • Not very aromatic but eventually opened to soft floral notes and strawberries. Fresh acidity and some tannic grip. Palate of red berries and a long spicy finish. I felt like this is in an in-between phase - not youthful fruit but not fully developed tertiary elements either.

  • Really delicious tonight. Still quite primary fruited, mineral and slightly tart berried acidity. Touch of undergrowth just coming through.. A hint of liquor, maybe Kirsch or slowes, on the finish, tiny note of mint. Really very drinkable right now, but should be interesting to see how it develops over the next 5 years

  • PnP one glass, decanted, 1 hour of air before 2nd glass. The nose was very primary on PnP (red berries) with some earth and stems. As this gets air and warms up, the nose opens up, the fruit becomes more expressive and oak spices join the fray. Very good first sip full of crunchy red berries, refreshing acidity without being lean. Again, with time, the wine gains body, the fruit becomes darker and the oak adds complexity. This shows very nice balance with a beautiful mineral finish and a kiss of tanins. This is very nicely done. It drinks very well right now but I think it will continue to age on balance for a long time. I'll try to keep the others in the cellar.

  • Pop and pour. Sadly, this is the only btl.lf this I purchased: very pleasurable already. On the nose: glossy wild strawberry, soft herbs, soft smoke, spice, so complex. On the palate: fantastic acidity and density; lightweight, but jam-packed with soft earth, stems, roaring red fruit, and the finest dusting of soft tannin on the finish. Glad I popped this now, as it's unclear how this will age.

  • Quite nice for a village wine. Opened nose of framboise, fresh strawberry, perfumes, cool mint and flower. Palate is lean and mineral driven. Some hint of cherry jam but mainly tart berry fruit, crunchy mineral, hint of black clay and iron. Well structured and drinking just fine.
