  • Either a slight hint of premox or this was made from delicious apple pie with some acid notes. This was nonetheless, quite delicious, but already had plenty of tertiary notes you wouldn’t expect from a wine this age. Maybe the warmth of the vintage? If I could get into my locker I’d grab other 05 whites to compare. Why is that not an essential service? At any rate I wouldn’t wait and this was kind of an adventure: I was very worried but actually learned to love it. Rich and deep on the palate and nose. Golden color. Great with spatchcocked Brick chicken with parsley lemon and chives.

  • Between this and the Clos de la Mouchère, vintage to vintage, I'd opt for the Mouchère.
