  Deep red with blue/purple hues, a little sediment in the bottle. Bold, fruity aromas on the nose, just as one expects from an Aussie shiraz, and soft tannins on the palate, although very rich at first. It drank a lot better the next day, and in hindsight, I definitely should have given it a few hours in the decanter first!
