This light golden Chardonnay flaunts intense aromas of lemon zest, jasmine, wet stones, pit fruits and honey. Light-to-medium-bodied, freshly acidic, minimally oaked and with well-integrated alcohol (listed as 13%), it delivers flavors mirroring the nose and stays solid in the middle. Finishing medium-to-long and vibrant, this is a very enjoyable white Burgundy that should be at its best over the next 2-3 years. Drink now-2023.

A simple and refreshing village wine from an okay vintage. This wine was what I would expect based on producer, vintage, and village. Drink these now as wouldn't expect improvement in time.

P: LM body; NICE frt met by ALMOST puckerish acidity which fairly seamlessly evolves into a LONG, TANGY finish. A firm style ONLY for lovers of high acidity! Drink now & through '21? My EXC-, that would likely NOT be so for many. 90 pts John Gilman. [This vendor's $33.95 is now $6 < wine-searcher's only other current entry.]
Note: Also tasted on 7/28 & 12/1/18, and 4/13/2019.

Very well made, Fichet is just excellent. A little on the lemony side for me - not my favorite bottling of his.
