  Medium crimson in color, this wine (50% Merlot/50% Grenache) showed violet, blackcurrant, minerals and subtle tobacco on the nose. The mouth feel was fuller bodied with herb and moneral undertones. The finish was medium in length with soft tannins and firm acidity that balances the overt fruits. 13.5% abv.
  
  Purchased for $9US, this is a well made, outstanding qpr. Buy this one by the case. This wine does have a decent amount of sediment.
