I am with the earlier review that this is nice but too compelling. At the get-go, this was a little disjointed with smoke/not much fruit, then settled down, but nit to much. May have been an off bottle, had been hoping for more.

Many compare Goodfellow pinots to burgundy, or burgundian in style, and I guess I can see that. It is light and clean. definitely on the lighter and less concentrated side of things. It is nice, but nothing too compelling.

Clearly still on the upswing but inviting enough to enjoy now. Light cherry and raspberry notes with some whole cluster character pulling this together and adding structure. Fine fresh palate. Mid weight but considerable depth with a mineral character.

PinotFest at Paul's (US Pinot Noir served blind) (At Paul's Place): I found this to be smoky and spicy in the aromatic. Soft and crunchy cranberry palate. Tangy, Burg-like in tone and seeming just young and in need of time.
