medium gold color. peach, bruised apple, jasmine, macadamia nuts, and honey on the nose. full bodied with medium acidity, very tart and nearly bitter. flavors of banana, roast pineapple, and golden apple on the palate. shows some alcoholic heat. medium length finish. still needs some time to mellow to be at it’s best.

Bright pale gold. Inviting fresh Jasmine flower, ripe pear, white peach, some apricot, honey syrup, leesy, some saline and wet stone mineral notes as well. Weighty and flavourful at 14.0% abv. Palate enveloping flavours with more complexity of sweet spices, roasted notes, orange zest. Quite long as expected.

Much more open than the 2019, ripe peach, but quite low on acidity, some bitter grapefruit. I guess this comes down to a stylistic preference, but it's not for me.

PNP into Riedel Performance Pinot Noir glass (“Fruit” day): Medium golden to the eyes.
Essential Rhone white style fruits of ripe citrus fruits like grapefruits with peels. Chenin Blanc nose.
Medium acidity, good mineality. bittersweet finish. Very well balanced.
94 points easy.

Gonon tasting; 11/10/2023-12/10/2023 (Utregs Wijnhuis, Utrecht, NL): Lighter than the 2019, tasted next to it, and more open for business. Medium intensity with herbs, a medicinal note, ripe pear, peach. Medium acidity, medium+ finish. 91+
