Coravin’d a couple of glasses and was tight. Next night opened with some friends. Really superbly well balanced across the nose and palate with hazelnut, acacia, white blossoms etc.

Wonderful changes in the palate of this wine during the time the bottle was open. Closed in the beginning, but nicely balanced already after the first glass. Maybe it was al little too early to drink this cru.

Burgundy Dinner with a Bordeaux Producer (RPM Steak - Chicago IL): Slightly reductive start, but that dissipated in 15-30 minutes , and everything was obviously rich and powerful from the beginning. Already in its peak drinking window. Very good now.
