Thick, unctious mouth feel. Nose of blackberry preserves and raisins. Big over the top flavors of golden raisins and honey with blackberry and boysenberry preserves lingering as you hold it in your mouth. Long lucious finish that seems to go on forever.
Paired perfectly with chocolate cake. Would also go perfectly with a nice cheese plate.

Delicious dessert wine. Trialed with a chocolate tiramisu and a pumpkin Creme Brulee. Didn't necessarily pair well with either of those. This wine wants yogurt and berries. Raspberry cheesecake. Granola and strawberries. Carrot cake. Nose of mint, wildflowers, strawberry, raspberry and herb. Sweet and ripe raspberry and black cherry notes are the backbone here. Finishes lighter than I expected as the front of this was quite robust and round. Really good wine. Not on the menu yet but will go well with the carrot cake and would do perfectly fine with a big bowl of vanilla ice cream!

Fascinating and delicious. Rich and unctuous but crisp and zesty. Red fruits, honey, ginger, lots of spices tea and herbs. I didnt even know this wine existed and I'm stoked it does.

Cabernet Franc can indeed make a good desert wine. It stood up to and nicely complimented a chocolate lava cake. Light in body but packed with flavor. Not cloyingly sweet, and possessing good acidity. Long fruity finish.
