Brief slow-ox on day #1. Very dense and tannic. Vacu sealed it and put it back in the cellar. Day#2 Just stunning. One of the best Napa cabs I've had in sometime.

Decanted three hours. Ethereal nose balanced among fresh berries, light tobacco, crushed stones, herbs and spices. On the palate, unique backbone of dark fruit, espresso, wet earth, and grainy tannins with swirling notes of chocolate and spice. An amazing wine showing beautifully right now.

This is in such a great spot right now as others have mentioned. I agree with practically all TN. Opened this up for my fellow coworkers for a Xmas party. Drank alongside a variety of meats, which went perfectly with the wine but was not needed. This thing stood out on its own. Definitely Top 3 of the wines I have drunk this year. Too bad this is my only bottle...
Double decanted for 90 min, deep ruby, black cherries, med tannins, long finish; outstanding & the best bottle of Araujo I have ever had. At that perfect spot that is now my preference of still having fantastic fruit yet beginning to develop its wonderful tertiary characteristics, drink or hold

(Araujo Estate Cabernet Sauvignon) Deep garnet core, fading to magenta on the rim. The elegant nose features a stony minerality, followed by a silky-textured Napa palate of blackcurrant and cassis. Both 2005s are still young and need time to develop, whether in bottle or decanter. Terroir: Eisele Vineyard

Similar to prior note, but didn't show as well at an outside dinner of burgers, drink or hold
