Crikey, no tasting notes in seven years? Well, this is for the seven of you with this bottle in your cellars.
The wine is medium purple in the glass with a nose of deep cranberry, plum, herbs, and basement.
On the palate the wine shows savory elements of muted luxardo cherry, cranberry, violet. There’s a stream in the background that reminds me of cabernet sauvignon that makes itself known on the mid-palate. Very mild acidity at this point which suggests it should be consumed sooner than later.

My Grade: VG. Given about an hour to breath. Dusty ruby color, cherry rim. Fruity nose of plums, raspberry and rhubarb, with a hint of lilac and barnyard. A bit thin on the palate, sour cherry, citrus, rhubarb, high-lined aciditity and some mineral and earth notes. Doesn't deliver as much as it should. (see my profile for grades)

Powerful nose with coffee, lilac, lilies. Creeper flavor with a beautiful delicate finish and mouthwatering acidity. The nose blew off a little after sitting out but was still very pleasing.
