2010 version of this unoaked Cab Franc very pleasant. Really get the Cab Franc grape as it is expressed from Central NY in this wine. It is light, both in body and on the palate, but expressive and flavorful nonetheless. Had with mustard-marinated grilled salmon and it worked nicely. Not for anyone who likes a bolder Cab Franc, although this producer makes an oaked version as well that I have not tried yet.

Tasting at Lamoreaux Winery, Seneca Lake, NY: Forward fruit, peppery. Well balanced. Long finish. D 78 (too dry, tannic)
