Really exciting wine. Notes of stone fruit and a hint of something savory-ish (patchouli oil)? Great acidity, and not much palate weight. Very nice, and quite unique.

Seattle Wine Group - Dec 2014 Tasting - Theme: CA Cabs (Amaroso Room - Wine Storage Bellevue): Nose of grapefruit and tropical fruit. Palate has melon, apricot and peach. Fresh acidity balanced with a mellow sweetness for an icewine. A long finish which develops nicely. For an icewine, this wine is surprisingly "unsweet" and quite thin in texture; however, does not detract from the wine. Much different than a Kracher TBA, but just as enjoyable depending on the mood.

Excellent dessert wine, not as viscous as a Sauternes, but wonderful honey and tropical fruit flavors.
