I just had a quick sample at the end of a tasting.
Medium ruby with some garnet at the rim. The nose is dominated by excessive VA which covers much of the goods. The fruit behind it is cool and vibrant with nice floral overtones. Medium bodied with quaffable structure that is driven by a high acidity. But again too much VA kind of ruins the fun and the wine comes out as a bit generic natural wine.

Grande Colline at Red and White (Chicago, IL): Read my last note on this wine and you'll understand how maddeningly inconsistent these wines can be. Sure, there's a slight bit of nattiness in this wine on the nose but overall the fruit expression here is quite pure. There's a really nice black peppercorn note here as well, but there's a bit of leesiness on the finish here again.

A very interesting wine that is very reminiscent of Thierry Alamand's style which makes sense due to the winemaker's previous work there. The wine is quite elegant and its approach to syrah is quite unique where it is light and lifted while remaining complex. However due to its natural wine nature, you can get some noticeable yeast notes towards the backend of the finish. In my opinion not the best qpr but an interesting experience none the less.

Really excellent bottle. Typical of the place and a tad wild but not overly so. Slight nuttiness on the finish.

Smelled delicious at first. The finish, and eventually everything, was just corn chip and mouse cage.
