Tasting evening with Bas en Lennart (Home, Utrecht): [Blind tasted] Light ruby red with a small orange rim. Medium intensity in the nose with red fruit (cherry, strawberry), blackberry, cranberry, forest floor and a hint of VA. Medium+ acidity, medium+ bodied, medium intensity on the palate with more black fruit, fig, kirsch and black currant. Medium tannins and medium finish. Given the color I landed on barbaresco

Smooth and similar to a super Tuscan. Good value for the quality
