Had this with pizza and it was an excellent pairing. This is medium to full bodied with aromas of black cherry, plum and a hint of olive. This has medium tannins and acidity. The flavors are of black currant, raspberry with a touch of vanilla spice on the lasting finish. Very nice Southern Italian wine from the lesser known Puglia region.
