  Deep ruby with slight blue at the edges, this wine (90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon/5% Cabernet Franc) shows blueberry, saddle leather, glycerin and tobacco leaf on the nose. The mouth feel is medium-bodied with added notes of earth elements. The finish shows moderate tannins but they allow the fruit and acidity to come together seamlessly. 14% ab.
  
  Purchased for $10US, this is an OUTSTANDING qpr. Recommended to buy it by the case. It's got enough complexity for eonophiles to recognize its sense of place but to not break the bank for daily drinking.
