Plummy and surprisingly concentrated fruit, overall quite clean, I would not have guessed Nebbiolo but I would also not have guessed Valle de Guadalupe (Baja). One of the better VdG wines I’ve had and will keep my eyes out for more from this Margaux appellation based family

Atypical Nebbiolo as compared to Italian wine, more fruit forward, extracted, good tannins and med plus length. Almost Cabernet like in red/black berry fruit, juicy expression, acid and mouthfeel. Surprisingly nice bottle, good value.

tasted at the end of a long night. Came across heavy. Again the Turin contingent could not fathom that nebbiolo could be so dark.
