Good acid backbone and a creaminess with notes of crisp apple and a touch underripe pineapple - long finish. Likely starting perfect drinking window. Give it an hour of air though.

Medium-straw, touch of gold. Mouth filling tropical fruit - pineapple, hints of lemon and crisp minerality, honey, and bit of beeswax on finish. Fine effort.

Golden fruit and a pleasing whiff of blonde oak on the nose. Palate at this stage is more about exuberance than elegance. Bright acid, rich, textural, with a depth of gold fruits, seashell minerals and a kiss of neutral oak. More obviously ripe CA sunkissed fruit than I remember. I’m guessing will continue to improve over the next 3-5 years.

A little toasty and reduced on the nose, but in a really good way. Aromas of lemon candy and ripe stone fruits, herbs and flowers, a bit of oak spice and sweet cream. Silky on the palate, just gorgeous texture. Intensely fruity on the mid-palate, with a bit of a tropical side. Long and fresh finish features beautiful tart pineapple, citrus candy, stone fruits and sneaky mineral notes. Killer Chardonnay. This should be worth following for at least a few years, maybe a decade or more.

Significant positive evolution since my last bottle six months ago, with rich apple and citrus framed by juicy acidity. Really nice.
