Pop and pour and enjoyed with food (spaghetti in a tomato-basil sauce, in case you were wondering). Ruby color. Nose offers cherries, some brown spice (cloves and cinnamon) and a hint of cola. Delicious fruit with a nice, lively dose of acidity, and some earth and brown spice flowing through on the back end. Light in mouth feel, but full of bright red fruit flavors - cherries and strawberry notes, with the brown spice giving the wine some depth. Quite enjoyable.

A lovely effort from WesMar and a perfect pairing with Beef Wellington on Christmas Day. Beautiful fruit with red fruit predominating. Nice savory and mineral elements add complexity and the mouthfeel is unparalleled. I may need to access more of this beauty to enjoy in the New Year.

Certainly a promising introduction to this vintage and a sneak peek of the latest WesMar offerings. Beautiful fruit and lovely aromatics with red berries, earth and subtle potpourri and spice. An appellation wine that speaks to its origin and terroir and is pleasing on the palate throughout the entire experience. This effort bodes well for the single vineyard offerings ahead. So excited to try this but they warrant keeping my hands off for some period of time. This is one of our household's favorite producers as they continually make consistent, delicious and high quality wines for more than a fair value. Plus they happen to be a couple of the nicest people you would ever want to talk to.

Great QPR. Popped and poured over a eight hour period. Nice to see this develop over that period. Beautiful experience from start to finish.
