Return to Aus; 6/23/2019-7/5/2019 (Adelaide, South Australia wine regions, Tassie, Yarra, etc.): Caveat that Chardonnay isn't my grape of choice. 9 months of French oak. This is too reminiscent of the chardonnay that I have a reaction to. It's got a bit of a sticky unripe tropical fruit flavor that for some reason doesn't sit right with me. Comes across as a touch astringent. Not my style.

Everything you want from a premium Yarra Valley Chardonnay. In its zone, drinking beautifully.
