Having had the 2017 Habanera recently, it was interesting to try this. Not surprisingly, the wines are very similar though this Tio Luis does not have as pronounced pepper/spice notes (though they are definitely there) and seems to be a little more open/plush at present. Lots of red fruit, strawberry with a mineral undertone. Great evolution over the 3-4 hours we followed it. Drink now and over next 10+ years. Lovely.
