  Having tasted this once more 4 years ago (Papies 91) and was quite impressed this time we found it a touch more new worldy vs a pomerol feel, bigger and in a way also harsher. Maybe it was the day but it felt with age this has taken a new twist. 89 on this occasion and th ejury is out

  A bit of a surprise and we had to try this. We felt this project aims to be the Le Pin of Greek wines , a bit garagiste, great project we have to say and definitely felt that is a wine done as a love project than a commercial focus , in a very very good way.
  The fruit gives the feel of that very well selected , grape by grape style , crop. Young but no sharp edges and is quite contained, firm with lots of presence and albeit has oak it's very much in check. Smoothness here comes from well ripened and well selected crop akin to top end small production Bordeaux, Not from over oaking which is so common in modernist and usually dissapointing winemaking. Showing but a glimpse of what it can achieve we felt and this needs a good 10y to show its full charm and complexity. Still an impressive project and one we need to find out more. Modern and not really Greek but very solid. 91-92 now but this has a lot of potential.
