  So!....my wine merchant found ONE MORE bottle of this in his inventory....and the best yet.
  On nose and palate: this 8 year old chard displayed a superb balance of apple, oak, citrus , roasted almonds, roasted corn, and creme brulee, held aloft by fresh, youthful acidity , displayed on a fine medium body.....must find a new vintage of this.

  Bottle #3 of this 8 year old Chardonnay.
  On nose and palate: all notes consistent with bottle #2....with even more minerality , great balance after a 1 hour decant .

  So...bottle #2 of this wine:
  On nose and palate: all notes intact from bottle# 1 , last week .
  With the absence of the banana bread and fig notes, as well as a sleeker acidity , and notes of chalk...giving it more of an Old World vibe...clearly a fresher bottle...my wine merchant has 6 bottles renaming...stay tuned.

  A well made Chilean Chardonnay.
  On nose: ripe apples and fresh banana bread.
  On palate: both flavour notes present, in addition to present oak/ vanilla notes, figs, a ghost of ripe cantaloupe, hazlenuts....and happily a good backbone of fresh acidity and a finish of meyer lemon and a hint of barley sugar....clean , voluptuous medium bodied, and one THIRD the price of a Lewis Napa Valley 2013 chard tasted recently....this is not as complex , of course, but very good value , at 8 years of age in Vancouver , at $27.00 a bottle....great with Chicken breast and basmati rice and green beans tonight.
