Pleasantly tart, interesting almost pulpy body with lots of guava. I would definitely recommend this to someone as a good place to start in terms of natural and/or orange wines. I had a bottle open for 2-3 days and finished it with a particularly ripe triple cream cheese- the tartness turned the salt and cream of the cheese way up and made for a completely decadent experience.

One of my favorite whites of the night. Most of the others we were drinking were just very intense and lower acid. This was a nice mouthful, but with the acid to balance it. Lovely honey notes. Really tasty.

Third Coast Soif (Chicago, IL): Slightly peppery quality, with a slight bit of that skin contact thing going on here. Floral with ripe fruit. Feels a little bit heady.

Drank on Thanksgiving. Upon opening this had a pretty intense apple cider thing going on, like some Italian orange wines I’ve had at first. After a few hours in the decanter, it opened up and smoothed out.
Fairly pale. High acid. Good aromatics. Medium light body but with some nice texture. I enjoyed this with the meal.

Orange wine, not too weird. 12%, made from mostly Viognier with some Pinot Grid and Muscat. From the Chehalem Mountains AVA in Oregon.
Not sweet. From the label "untamed skin contact". Lots and lots of flavors and volatile aromatics. Well done, tasty.
Strange label and name do not detract from the inherent quality within.
