Aerated and decanted. I’m just beginning our cellar, so gambled on a few aged/over-the-hill wines to let ours be. Musty on the nose. This is still smooth, cranberry and juicy dark berries, soft vanilla... but delayed...am I crazy to say oily walnut? A learning experience!

smells aged, hazelnuts, coffee, sweet tabacco, the palate bright acidity, mellow milk chocolate blackberry mixed with dashes of acidity
