Estate Grown Carneros. Several plots blend. Very dark for pinot. The oak is subdues or blueberry fruit and the smoke on the nose overwelms it. Very, concentrated, extracted, rich and sexy smooth texture. Good, clean finish. I am not usually a fan of this very ripe style, but there are no "off" flavours here. Stands up to strong ginger and soy sauce in the food. Re-buy.
