  • Had for desert after a dinner of NY Strips, green beans and a positively dismal Argentine Malbec so it was a welcome finish. The color is golden honey; the legs are long, even though the wine isn't too thick. Served well chilled in a nice general purpose white wine glass that was overfilled. On the pallette it started sweet with lots of honey and peach, then as it mellowed to a taste that was primarily pear there were hints of VERY slight/light oak and a finish of sweet almonds. Would have scored higher but as it warmed and I finished my glass the almond taste began to overpower both the peach and the pear I originally tasted but well chilled this is a keeper - would gladly recommend it and will happily buy more from this [roducer who is local to me.

  • This wine is an exceptional value. The nose is a sweet grape and pear. Lovely legs on the glass. Initially it's all pears and a slight hint of citrus it transitions to a hint of nuts to replace the citrus and then just blossoms onto your tongue.
