  Deep ruby. Pronounced rose floral aromas, which later showed clear blackberry and vanilla. Still tightly tannic, acidic, and medium bodied, and softens with some breathing time. Flavours of blackberry, grass, mint, straw, pepper, cloves, vanilla. Fairly persistent in the floral and black fruited notes. Very young and will definitely do better with some aging, but all in all pretty impressed with something I had otherwise thought to likely be simple
