Granted it is a single vineyard port from a non-vintage year, I expected a bit more from this producer. Lack complexity and alcohol seems to stick out for my taste. Finish slightly coarse.

Dark fruits. Still some tannin. An ok port wine, but not really refined or complex. A bit edgy even, but because of the sweetness and alcohol that is not really disturbing. Ok, but not special.

Drank from 0.375 bottle. Bouquet with ripe black fruits like blackberries and blueberries. On the palate the same fruits. Soft tannin. Smooth and round but a bit alcoholic in the finish. Overall clearly a Vintage Port with soft tannin and ripe fruits, but lacking real finesse and the heat in the finish is a bit disturbing.

No formal notes. A nice port.
