Taste North Canterbury 2018 (Christchurch, New Zealand): Superb Canterbury Pinot Noir, now at 10 years a medium garnet-red colour; lighter bodied than the 2010 but also with leather and tobacco, musky with cut mushroom and leaf litter. Complex and layered with (perhaps fading?) cherry and redcurrant fruit.
