  Medium crimson - Gorgeous American PN nose, palate is more serious - not quite earthy, but definitely has an earthy or savoury element- seems quite sophisticated - stayed interesting thru dinner and after - had the Cali fruit, but a Euro sophistication, very nice.

  The color is saturated ruby-core to a pink clear rim. This wine is deeper in colorer than most Pinot Noirs. On open the nose is barnyard, pomegranate, and clove, with air, becomes perfumed floral and red berries. The mouth is cherry, red berries, and spice, and with a hint of jolly rancher candy. The body is medium and the wine is in balance with a medium-long finish.
  
  I purchased this from a local retailer on sale and for $25 it is an excellent QPR .

  Great representation of this vineyard. On initial pour there was a strong seaweed note on the nose. Made in a very reductive way. This needs several hours to come together. When it does it has the gorgeous notes of damp soil, mushrooms, and red berries.
