Screwcap. Bottled for the 1979 Barossa Valley Vintage Festival. Pours a dark reddish brown, very cloudy. Old, over-the-hill nose, with notes of brown apple, dirty boots, horse, and raisin. Sweet palate, with a soft, syrupy mouthfeel. Flavours of brown sugar, date, apple, and raisin. No structure, but finishes with some good acidity and notes of lime and orange peel.
