  i was concerned this might be past it's prime, but it was near perfect. nose was big honey, and anise. on the palate upfront was that big, pure honey, with floral and spice on the mid-palate, followed by tropical fruit and lemon zest on the finish. wonderful, balanced acidity and a medium-long velvety finish. if you have a bottle of this it is at it's peak. don't wait any longer.

  This is a wonderful summer white. It's light and crisp with a hint of sparkle. It's perfectly balanced with flavors of honey, lemon, tangerines and a touch of maple syrup. The wine is very drinkable, as are all Rideau whites...their specialty. I am definitely purchasing more!
