  This bottle was really pleasant and different from many Pinots I have had recently. It was a beautiful nose and had notes of tobacco, black tea, and just a hint of the cherry cola. There was a lot of body to this wine even though it seemed to be traditional in terms of color and depth for a Russian River Pinot. My first Eleven Eleven wine and I enjoyed it. Have two more of these that I will hold onto just a bit longer to see how they respond to a little more age.

  The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like cherry, vanilla, stoniness and rose. It tastes like strawberry jam, fig, cherry, mineral and honeysuckle. The body is medium/full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.
