I had a 2015 vintage twice. A year ago and 3 months ago. Let's see what this younger wine can do to my brain and tongue. Just 30 minutes in the decanter. 🕙 Yes , this is my kind of Beaujolais! Perfect balance between fruits, spice and acidity. Lovely aromas of earth, barnyard, red cherry, plum, syropy... something sweet ( spices or herbs?), dense smoke. Taste is beautiful mix of red cherry, blackberry, minerals, mint, soft spice. Chewy tannins, perfect acidity. Pretty long fruity finish. Vintage 2017 got 94 points according to the WA Vintage Guide. Outstanding. Early maturing and accessible.

Typical Gamay, fabulous, fragrant and mild tannins.
It’s a keeper!
