Tasting group 10-13 - 94 Washington cabs. Deep garnet with no signs of bricking, toasted oak, black cherry, chocolate, with very slight hints of vegital characteristics, full mouth feel and long finish. Excellent bottle.

First Tuesday Group - My House: 1994 Cabernet/Bordeaux Horizontal. Only a hair behind the Freemark Abbey Bosche, this was both my, and the group's, second place wine of the night. Fully mature, long, complex, and beautifully balanced. This was my only bottle of the '94, but if my other vintages of this wine mature like this, I'll be a happy drinker. I would drink this over the next couple of years since I don't think it will ever be any better than it is right now. A remarkable wine.

This was drinking fabulously. Barely any bricking, lots of fruit left. Cork broke a bit, but I could see this easily doing at least another 5 years.

continues to be an outstanding bottling from DeLille, and a personal favorite.
