In search of value from the restaurant list today with lunch at MOA. Oh well I assumed the Vouvray would be the better way to go vs. a central coast CA Chenin that was $5 more than the Vouvray? Certainly a serviceable white with tuna poke' and salads. This was almost a water pale color. Lacked both the usual zip and concentration of typical village Vouvray. Also on the sweet side of off dry. Sure wish they had my "go to" Marc Bredif on the list instead. In hindsight, I'm pretty sure the CA option would have out performed this blt. Serviceable and inexpensive for $31 by wine list standards.

An easy drinking vouray, on the sweeter style. Apples, honey, pairs does better with spicy food.

Crisp and refreshing. Light bodied, but not watery. Easy drinking. Not that complex, but solid. Surprisingly good with chicken soup.
