Very pale narcissus yellow. Fresh unoaked chardonnay. Lime flower, acacia blossom and Charentais melon. Medium full body for a dry white (off-dry). Better than most Petit Chablis and competes with ordinary Chablis. Good value for money. Latour also produces a more expensive Grand Ardeche Chardonnay which has been oaked, if you don't like the 'butter' get this one.

Pale gold in the glass. Nose of lemon, saline, touch of orange zest. Palate has a bit of VA that blows off in the glass. Decent entry, OK balance in the mid palate, and a long finish. Overall, just a “meh” wine — I won’t seek out another bottle. Better value Chardonnay from France in the top negocianf houses Macon-Village or Bourgogne Blanc (Jadot, Drouhin, etc.)

A little lemon and orange zest but not orange. Gold and no oak or steel. Refreshing and a good cold weather white, but a tad dull.
