#3 of 6 bottles, #2 was corked so its been years since we tried this. Lighter color than other recent Priorats we’ve had, likely heavy on Carignan. Smokey cedar nose with ripe plum and blackberry, hint of maple syrup. Palate is full, smoky with red cherries, slate and drying charcoal in the finish. Tannins are relatively easy going. Underbrush complexity is there but not greatly delineated. I think there is room to improve over next 5-10 years. 91-92 points now.

Unfortunately corked. Even still nearly drinkable, intense and lively aromas of dark fruit. Unfortunately the bandaid flavor emerges in background with every sip. Poured out.

Dare I say this Priorat has La La like qualities!? Hauled this bottle to Telluride for the last family vacation of the summer. At 12 years of age this is in a great drinking window but will continue to cellar very well. A hypothetic mix of Rhone/Priorat like qualities. Bright dark cherry, pepper, licorice, and minerality.
Drank this a few weeks ago at Bellota in SF on a rec from the sommelier. It was a stunner - fairly deep complexity and classic structure. Reminded me a bit of CDP style. Bought six bottles and will report back with more notes
I added the drinking range 2020-2030 as I think there are definite legs here for nice aging although not an expert in this wine
