(Decanted for one hour) Brick red colour with a mature nose showing tertiary notes of leather, minerals and Sweet red berries. Silk smooth palate with fully evolved tannins and a round mid showing some dried fruit before a warm and sweet finish showing an intense primary fruity note.

(Decanted for half an hour) Brick red colour with a mature nose showing leather, cedar and some sweet black berries in a very nice and pleasant way. Sweet red berries on the mature palate showing silk smooth tannins balanced by the acidity and showing a hint of herbs together with mint chocolate on the lengthy finish. (Still showing very well with 40+ years of cellaring)

(Decanted for one and a half hour) Very nice maturity showing chocolate, red berries and forest floor in a very nice and pleasant way. Silk smooth tannins on the palate still showing some red berries fruitiness and on the lengthy finish there’s a nice touch of chocolate as well.

(Decanted for one hour) Nice brick red colour with a mature nose showing truffles, sweet red berries and forest floor and a touch of vanilla. Fully evolved tannins on the palate still showing fresh fruit and a nice mild sweetness on the finish showing some dried fruit as well.

(Decanted for one hour) Brick red colour with a mature nose showing leather, cedar and a little touch of Tahiti vanilla in a very positive way. Opens up with a sweetness on the palate, fully evolved tannins and no primary fruit. But at the same time not showing any dried fruit, just a balanced finish where the fruity sweetness comes back again. Maybe not as intense sweetness on the palate as last bottle a year ago, but with a fresher nose. This worked very well with tenderloin steak.
