Stumbled on my remaining survivor in the cellar. Age has really paid off. I remember really liking this one young, it was definitely a delicate CdP. Currently its ruby color has become a little more brown. The nose is highly perfumed with garrigue and sweet flowers. It dances across the palate and is light on its feet the entire time. Nothing hard in the finish, it's a beautiful older wine whose time is now. What a treat. Price tag was still on it, $18. I'm guessing that next to big CdPs or big wines in general it would seem washed out or lacking, but on its own it is gorgeous.

Excellent CDP évolué mais délicat tant dans sa robe, son nez que sa bouche. Confiture de prune bien mûre mais relativement féminin. À boire sans plus tarder car son côté oxydatif le dénaturera.

A wonderful lighter-styled CdP. It has developed some of that kirsch liqueur that's expected with age but has maintained it's light on the feet style. One left, what a shame.

The color is lightish ruby, not quite the color of burgundy, but tending toward it. The nose has a sweet honey overtone and elements of earth(tobacco?) and spice, with a tiny bit of jammyness(strawberry jam?). This wine is medium-bodied, and tickles the palate with marvelous complexity for an $18 bottle. It finishes with moderate fine tannins, and a healthy acidity. I give this 90+pts, QPR A. It's soft and approachable now, but may do even a little better with 2-5 years on it.
